There must be a way

Another 2 year old child fell out of a window today, Thankfully this little boy is ok. This makes 4 two year old children in 3 years in NEPA. Something needs to be done. I need to find a way to start my foundation. These falls can be prevented. I need to do this... I need to find a way.

I'm lusting after a Diamond Candle... How cool are these things??? Well we are jobless and poor so this is the only way I'm getting one! lol  I hope it doesnt matter that even my husband and sister hasent subscribed to this blog...

Time to make a difference!

Last week another toddler fell out of a window this is the 3rd toddler in 3 years in NEPA 2 in Scranton and 1 in Taylor ( The worst day of my life!). I was affected so much by the latest little boy because I've run that horrid outcome in my mind a million times so I decided I needed to do something constructive with these strong emotions and I began proposing the idea of an awareness foundation dedicated to educating people on the importance of child proofing windows to family members. The people I spoke to about it thought it was a great idea but I'm a little overwhelmed by the info I need to sort through and it looks like it might cost to much for me to do. I hope I can figure this out I'm truly passionate about it.

The facts I've run into about this is incredible The amount of children that this happens to is staggering something needs to be done... I need to do something. Its time to make the world a safer place for children one window at a time.

Thanks to my sister we have a name now for the hard part...

Pinterest.

I cant stop! I spend hours pinning stuff onto this digital board! I obsess over what I want to repin and and I'm so happy when something gets repined 200+ times. I may not be addicted to drugs or alcohol but boy do I get addicted to this dorky stuff. I spasticly bounce between Facebook, World of warcraft and Pinterest. When someone else uses the computer I get an itch, a reeeaaaalll baaad itch, I start to fidget and I get grumpy and I sporadically announce that TV is so boring. I have the facebook app on my phone and my sons Ipod and pinterest on my sons Ipod and I check regularly to see if pinterest made an app for the android but its just not the same! I need the click clack of my keyboard and mouse! 

My Super Power

We all have one, it may be passive so you may not know you have it but you do. My niece has an active super power its a sonic scream and when she produces it everyone (adults, children and animals) with in a block of her quickly gives her what they believe she wants to make it stop. Now, my super power is passive... I can identify most 80's, some 70's and 90's pop songs with in the first 5 seconds of it playing and my husband tests this on a fairly regular basis. Last night while keeping me company (I have insomnia right now) he began his great quest and began to download songs onto his phone to quiz me with. He's always so amazed by this but my son, Al who decided to join our late night game show of 5 second blurts of music was a lot less impressed by this and after telling us to stop several times sent himself back to bed. Hmm So whats your super power?
